Mel ConnetMel Connet co-founded Heritage Search Partners to conduct high-impact, officer-level executive search in the Information Technology Industry. Mel specializes in executive search at the Presidential, Executive Officer and Board of Director level for technology companies in the software, systems, communications, internet and cleantech spaces. He has more than twenty years of experience in the executive search industry and has successfully completed over 300 assignments. Mel’s clients include both early stage emerging growth companies as well as large, established multinationals. His CEO placements have delivered cumulative increases in realized shareholder value in excess of $11 billion.
Prior to Heritage Search Partners, Mel was Partner-in-Charge of the Software Industry Group and a member of the Board of Directors of Heidrick & Struggles. Previously, Mel was Vice President and Partner with Korn/Ferry International, where he led that firm's Silicon Valley technology practice. Mel graduated with an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and received a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin. Mel is based in Menlo Park.
Peter DiamondAs a partner with Korn/ Ferry International, as well as with subsequent firms, Peter Diamond has been responsible for significant senior-level executive search assignments. Mr. Diamond has completed assignments for Fortune 500 companies and also been very active in providing search consulting to venture-backed and early stage companies in a variety of industries.
Prior to beginning his successful search career, he was a principal in a Dallas consulting firm, served as Vice President of Sales, for a $250 million publicly traded technology company, was Vice President of Sales and Marketing a start-up technology firm. Mr. Diamond started his post graduate career with Xerox Corporation, where his 15 year career included sales management, marketing, compensation and administrative roles. He currently has offices in Dallas, Texas and Denver, Colorado.
Paul J. McCartneyCo-founder of Heritage Search Partners, for more than twenty years Paul has successfully placed senior executives in technology firms ranging from startups to the largest Fortune companies. His extensive experience includes partnerships in several international search firms. Prior to founding Technology Partners, Ltd. Paul led Korn Ferry’s Global High Technology Practice. Earlier in his career Paul was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Syntrex, Inc., a New Jersey based manufacturer and worldwide distributor of computer hardware and software. Before joining Syntrex Paul was Vice President of Marketing for Computer Language Research, Inc., a Dallas based computer services company. Paul began his career with Xerox Corporation, where he held various sales, marketing and management positions. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and an MBA from the University of Rochester Graduate School of Management.
